Formula TKM was created to provide close and competitive racing at reasonable cost. Thousands of drivers have competed in TKM, including FIA World Champions Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson, and double BTCC champion Colin Turkington to name just a few.
The Inter, Junior and Senior classes provide a high-performance pathway that drivers can follow from age 10 upwards giving great value racing.
The classes are powered by the TKM BT82 engine made by Tal-Ko, the only kart race engine manufacturer in the UK. The engines are strictly controlled to ensure minimum tuning, most using the latest TAG (touch and go) technology. Maxxis slick and wet tyres provide the grip.
As the UK’s longest running class, TKM is proud to be part of the British Kart Championships and enjoys the added prestige given to the TKM championship titles.
Competitors will race head-to-head against each other at a variety of well-known circuits across the UK.
Championships feature a number of different classes based on driver age and kart specification. Each class has its own races within the meeting.
