The Wera Tools Driver of the Day Award shortlist for Event 7 – Larkhall is now LIVE.

Now is your chance to vote for the driver who impressed YOU the most during the weekend, with the winner receiving the coveted Wera Tools trophy, tool prizes, and Motorsport UK offering a free test day at a BKC venue of their choice in 2023 or 2024.

The nominations have been made up of drivers that impressed the panel throughout the weekend and now you can play your part in deciding the winner.

Nominations are:

MICRO MAX – Kian Burnard
Had a decent day on Saturday, qualifying 3rd and taking two top 4 finishes in his heats but came alive on Sunday. Won the pre final and then went head to head with Jenson Chalk in the final and came out on top in a tight head to head battle on the final lap for his first BKC win

MINI MAX – Albert Friend
Qualified sixth but made progress in both his heats to finish 2nd and 3rd. Charged back from a lap one collision in the pre final to finish 2nd and then won the final with a series of stunning passing moves

JUNIOR ROTAX – Macauley Bishop
Unbeatable all weekend. Took pole by three tenths of a second and won both his heats by 3 seconds . Extended his winning margin to nearly 5 seconds in the pre final and then survived a mid race stoppage to comfortably win the final . A perfect weekend

SENIOR ROTAX – Lewis Gilbert
Made his only error in qualifying when he placed 18th but then gained 9 places in heat one and five places in heat 2. Started 6th and finished 2nd in the pre final and then came out on top of a great three way fight in the final to take an emotional win at his home track
