Honda driver Max Taddei has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 6 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at Larkhall.

Taddei was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.

The judges nominated the youngster at the weekend, commenting: “Third in qualifying and a close second in heat 1, Max was leading heat 2 until he came in a lap early but then charged back from 6th to 2nd in the pre final and won the final after a great scrap with Ryan White and several others.”

Taddei will be presented with his trophy at the next round of the Honda season.
