The Motorsport UK team behind the new-look British Kart Championship have arrived at PF International in Lincolnshire ahead of the opening round of the series. The Rotax classes get the 2019 BKC underway with four classes and 160 competitors set to do battle this weekend (30/31 March).

It may be the calm before the on track storm, but the organisers have been busy today (Thursday) as the new race centre arrived at the Trent Valley circuit. The new race centre will provide the headquarters for the 18-weekend championship and will form the hub for briefings, meetings and weekend information.

“It’s been a hectic few weeks, but we can’t believe the first weekend is finally here!” enthused Dan Parker, Karting Manager at Motorsport UK. “The excitement is well and truly building  and we cannot wait to kick-start a new season. The new race centre is an excellent addition and we look forward to welcoming teams and competitors this weekend and throughout the season.”

The opening round of the series will witness 160 drivers in the Senior, Junior, Senior Max 177 and MiniMax Rotax categories fight for supremacy at PF International this weekend.
