Alpha’s coverage of race day has been the broadcasting mainstay of the series and will continue to be one of the “go-to” outputs during the weekend, proving a dynamic mix of trackside action with paddock news and updates. Brought perfectly together by the Alpha Live team, the race day coverage will also be bolstered by unique features across the season, catering for both hard-core fans and newcomers to the sport. Coupled with the traditional track walk introduction to each venue, features will including shining a spotlight on the BKC team, karters, team members and volunteers throughout the season to ensure the series continues to deliver some of the best coverage in Europe.

For those who missed the live coverage, the popular highlights edit will once again be broadcast on the BKC Facebook page and Motorsport UK YouTube channel just a few days after each meeting, providing the perfect round-up of the action from the weekend.

In addition to the popular live feed, the British Kart Championship will have a dedicated media team “on the ground” in the paddock, providing a unique behind the scenes look at the championships and their competitors, charted across each weekend on the BKC social media channels.

Joining the team for the first time in 2021, newly recruited BKC Media Manager Matt Cotton will oversee the media operations for the championship this season and will be joined by karter Will Davies. Together they will be covering the action-packed racing from the 10-event series.

Capturing the trackside action and delving into life in the paddock, resident BKC photographer Chris Walker returns in 2021 to provide high-quality imagery throughout the season for social output and press requirements.

Wera Tools British Kart Championship Manager Dan Parker is excited by the ramped-up media offering in 2021.

“The British Kart Championship is the most exciting, prestigious and action-packed karting series in the country and we really need to shout about that,” he says.

“We have pulled together a fantastic output of coverage across all platforms in 2021 and I think we have all bases covered this year, enabling absolutely anyone to follow the championship, from hardcore karting fans to the casual follower. And that’s what is import, appealing to a new audience and new generation whilst ensuring those who know what they are looking for are well catered for as well.”

“Alpha Live are superb at capturing the atmosphere and action from the circuits and the feed they provide has been excellent. That will continue in 2021 and coupled with several additions to the format, will provide the perfect way to watch the racing during the weekend. Add to that our dedicated media team who will be grabbing plenty of snippets and news for our social channels and we have a fantastic offering for everyone this season”.
