Next up is 2019 Junior TKM Top Privateer – Scott Smith
How did you get started in the sport?
It was my dad’s birthday party where we went to a corporate event at Wildtracks and really enjoyed it and it went from there.
What was the highlight of your Privateer title winning year?
Competing against the big teams.
What was your low point last season?
Round 6 of the Championship when I got hit off at the first corner and ended up last.
Why do you enjoy competing in Karting and the BKC?
To be up against the big teams and still keeping up with them.
What’s your favourite circuit?
PF International.
Who has been your toughest rival?
Dom Kilmister.
When we do get underway, what are your hopes for the new season?
I recently bought an X30 to race against different drivers and different tracks, still racing as a privateer and hoping to compete in the LGM.
Due to the delayed start to the season what are you planning on doing with this unexpected time off from racing?
Helping around the garden and playing Xbox.
