Motorsport UK have announced the Honda Cadet Championship dates for the forthcoming British Kart Championship season. The Honda series is a popular part of the British Kart Championships and 2020 is set to be no different, as the one-make class will do battle over four rounds.

The Honda Cadet series will kick-off at Lydd – one of two new venues for the BKC. Lydd has been a firm favourite in the past and the Kent circuit will be a welcome addition – as will Warden Law in the North East of England.  The Sunderland-based venue will be new to most of the drivers and will provide an added degree of unpredictability in the fight for the championship. The Honda runners will then head to the much-loved Fulbeck before the showdown at PFI in November.

2020 Motorsport UK Honda Cadet Championship:

Round 1: Lydd – 21-23 August

Round 2: Warden Law – 18-20 September

Round 3: Fulbeck – 9-11 October

Round 4: PF International – 13-15 November

“All of the Motorsport UK Championships are super competitive, but the Honda Cadet class is without doubt one of the hardest to win,” said Dan Parker, Kart Manager at Motorsport UK. “I am delighted we have been able put together a four-round championship in 2020, following the suspension of events earlier this year. It has been necessary to change some of the venues for the Honda rounds, but the tracks they will be visiting should contribute to even more competitive racing this season. Over 55 drivers have already had their place in the championship confirmed and we do have space for a few more to join the class.”
