Mini Max driver Harry Freeman has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 11 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at PFi.

Freeman was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.

The judges nominated the young karter at the weekend, commenting “Talk about an up and down weekend, but for Harry his final would be an up.
After qualifying in P9, Freemans weekend would start to turn in to a undulating roller-coaster of ups and downs. With heat one dropping to P20 and heat two holding on to P9.
The prefinal would continue the downward trend, but come the final Freeman would gain 9 places to finish in the top 15 just 6 seconds behind the leader..”

He will be presented with his trophy at the British Karting Awards in November.
