TKM Extreme racer Jessica Fitch-Hall has been named the Wera Tools Driver of the Day from Event 8 of the 2023 British Kart Championships, at Whilton Mill.
Fitch-Hall was nominated by the panel of judges, along with a driver from each of the remaining classes thanks to their on-track performance, sporting act or overcoming adversity. Each karter was in line to scoop the coveted Wera Tools Trophy and Wera Tools prizes, whilst Motorsport UK will supplement the prize with a free test day at a BKC venue in 2023 or 2024. The winner was decided by a public online poll.
The judges nominated the young karter at the weekend, commenting: “This nomination has come from the terrible situation the Fitch-Hall family suffered after the weekend on the drive home. Just 15 minutes after leaving the track their vehicle caught fire and subsequently, all of their karting and race gear was destroyed.”
She will be presented with his trophy at the next round of the TKM Extreme season.
